But recent political developments in our state and nationally have left us unsettled and wary. We’re not accepting this lying down. We are vigilant, we are emboldened, and we are standing up to threats to our civil liberties, our schools, our public lands, our Montana way of life.
Record numbers of Montanans are showing up at rallies at the state capitol and across Montana to show our displeasure at these recent developments. This is not an entirely partisan issue: we will hold ALL elected officials accountable for their actions and their votes, and we demand that Montanans deserve better.
We are regrouping, we’re rebuilding our tribe, and we’re making it stronger. We won’t stand for further erosion of economic justice and attacks driven by hate and intolerance. The countdown has begun to better leadership for the state we love.
